Canna Comforts CBD Bath Bomb: Cavalier and Femme Fatal Product Review

These bath bombs smell awesome.  We really like the Cavalier Bath Bomb, a more masculine scent featuring strong notes of spicy cedar tempered with citrus zest and bergamot (admittedly a favorite of ours).  The scent is clean, invigorating, and decidedly manly without being too intense.

Femme Fatal is every bit as feminine as Cavalier is masculine.  It’s similar to Sex Bomb from Lush and features the pronounced scent of jasmine, rounded out with notes of ylang-ylang and sage.  The sage scent adds enough of an herbal, spicy element to keep the floral components from being overpowering, and the scent is pleasant without coming across too intensely

The product is slightly larger than a golf ball, with a seam running around its circumference.  Cavalier is a pale grey topped with black salt, while Femme Fatal is lilac. The bomb is firm to the grip but crumbles if you scratch at it (probably best if you don’t do this).  Added to the bath, it fizzes very well and leaves the water with a cloudy, lightly colorful tint (no stains on your tub!), emanating its scent and enveloping you in relaxation.

We felt the effects of this bath bomb quickly:  the scent relaxed our senses while the fizzing bath bomb and the CBD within it went to work.  We soaked in the tub for about 45 minutes — during that time, we felt noticeable muscle relaxation and pain relief starting about 10 minutes in and peaking at about 30-40 minutes, shortly before we got out.

After the bath, we stayed feeling nice and loose and pain-free for about three hours. The bath bomb also left a pleasant scent on our skin and left us feeling a bit softer and smoother than before the bath, and much more relaxed.

This bath bomb is an excellent option for people experiencing physical pain and inflammation, whether it originates in the muscles or the joints.  It would make an excellent remedy for symptoms of PMS and menstrual cramping, and would also work well to soothe muscle pain after a workout or physical therapy.

We especially like this product for athletic recovery, but sufferers of arthritis and other people who experience chronic pain could likely also benefit from it.  It helps provide some more immediate relief while an oral or inhaled method works internally, delivering the benefits of CBD throughout the body.

As this is a topical product, it’s best paired with a systemic CBD product such as a tincture or a bowl of hemp flower.  We like to smoke a hemp bowl while soaking to get the maximum anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects.

Each bath bomb contains 20 mg of CBD and is meant to be used in a single dose.  At $8 per bath bomb, that works out to about $0.40 per milligram of CBD.  Compared to the price of the bath bombs produced by Ambary Gardens, this is on the affordable side.  Ambary Gardens’ bath bombs contain less CBD for a higher price at $0.80 per milligram.  For the quality of the product, we consider these bath bombs from Canna Comforts a great value.
