With all the different CBD products available from different manufacturers, it can be difficult to sort out which manufacturers are reputable and which you should skip. Since CBD isn’t regulated by the FDA like medications are, it’s hard to know what to look for to ensure you’re getting the purest, highest-quality product available.
All CBD is not created equal. Some manufacturers use subpar hemp material, which in turn yields a subpar product. Others use cheap carrier oils that don’t contain MCT’s (which are easier for your body to digest)—or worse, don’t list their ingredients clearly at all, leaving you to guess what’s in your CBD oil. Still others use thinning agents like propylene glycol, which not only dilute the finished product but have been associated with a host of unpleasant potential side effects. With so many things to watch out for, how can you know who to trust?
We like Ambary Gardens for a number of reasons: they use organic, US grown, non-GMO hemp to produce all of their products, they don’t use any added solvents or thinning agents in their vape oils or tinctures, and they test their products for purity and quality, providing test results for individual batches so you can trust the CBD content of your purchase. Why Ambary Gardens? Let us count the ways: read on!
Made from Organic, US grown, non-GMO Hemp
All of the hemp used to create Ambary Gardens’ extensive line of CBD products is grown in Colorado, USA under fully organic conditions. It is free from pesticides, heavy metals, and other undesirable elements that can cause negative side effects for consumers. Many individuals who report negative effects from CBD consumption are actually reacting to unsavory chemicals in the original hemp material. It is a good idea to avoid products made from hemp grown in China or for this reason, as these products may contain trace amounts of potentially dangerous chemicals. There are certain hemp farms in the EU that produce organic products, but you’ll need to get certification from the company (see Test Results section below).
In addition to their commitment to organic agriculture, Ambary Gardens also uses sustainable methods of cultivation that are better for the planet in addition to being good for consumers. Their hemp is grown without pesticides or herbicides; not only is this responsible agriculture, it makes a safer, more therapuedic finished product. They use a special strain of hemp that produces extremely high levels of CBD and terpenes.
Extracted Using An Organic Ethanol Wash
Ambary Gardens uses the safest, most natural method of extraction to obtain their CBD: the organic ethanol wash method. This method uses natural ethanol to extract the CBD and other beneficial cannabinoids from the hemp into a liquid containing both alcohol and the desired cannabinoids. The ethanol is then cooked off to leave behind an extract that is completely solvent-free, without the use of toxic hydrocarbons.
We like this method of extraction because, in addition to being one of the oldest and safest methods, it produces a full-spectrum CBD extract that includes not only beneficial cannabinoids such as CBN, CBG, and CBC, but also the terpene profile of the original plant. There’s some evidence to show that terpenes can affect the way cannabinoids are absorbed by your body, so maintaining that terpene profile may help you reap the maximum benefit from your CBD experience.
Dissolved In High Quality MCT Oil
MCT, or medium-chain triglyceride, oil is known to improve the absorption of CBD because its shorter molecular chains are easier for the body to process, improving the bioavailability of the cannabinoids contained within. This means that, for ingestible forms of CBD such as tinctures and softgels, MCT oil is the way to go. All of Ambary Gardens’ ingestible products are dissolved in MCT oil, making them more easily absorbed through your digestive tract.
Beware of cheap carrier oils that won’t give you the same bioavailability boost that MCT will, or worse: unclear labeling that makes it impossible to know for sure what’s in the tincture or softgel. If the carrier oil and CBD extract aren’t clearly labeled on the bottle you’re considering, it’s best to set it back on the shelf and try something else. It’s better to be sure that you have a quality product than to be left guessing—and subsequently paying the price.
Batch Tested for Quality and Consistency
As it’s a natural, plant-derived product, CBD extracts will vary from batch to batch based on the subtle differences in the hemp material in each. It’s not a fault of process or method, and it means you’re getting a product that’s as close to the plant itself as possible. However, this means that reputable manufacturers will test their products to ensure quality and potency. Ambary Gardens tests each individual batch for consistency and quality, so you can trust you’re getting the product that’s advertised on the label.
Wide Selection of Products to Choose From
No matter what your needs are, Ambary Gardens offers a suitable addition to your CBD regimen. From tinctures and softgels for those who choose to consume CBD orally to pre-filled vape cartridges for those who prefer to vape to topicals for consumers seeking localized relief, there’s an option for every possible need.
We like to use the tincture for sustained systemic effects, supplementing with the occasional puff or two of a CBD vape if we’re in need of a boost or need to relieve acute symptoms such as anxiety or muscle spasms. For sore muscles and injuries, we like to apply the Muscle Recovery or Deep Rub salve to the affected area in addition to systemic CBD to dissolve inflammation and the resulting pain from within and without. You can also treat yourself to a CBD bath bomb or a soothing CBD salt soak, or even try a CBD-infused lip balm (we promise it’ll replace your old cherry Chapstick!).
If you’re looking for high-quality, organic CBD in a variety of dosage strengths and modes of consumption, Ambary Gardens has what you’re looking for. We’ve personally visited their greenhouse in Colorado and have seen firsthand the quality and care they put into their products, from plant to bottle. We wholeheartedly recommend them for your CBD needs.
